Great break spot found! The Daily Grind coffee shop on 4th Ave has dedicated parking for buses behind the building. Clean restrooms, good coffee, and friendly staff. They give 20% discount to transit drivers!
Dealing with difficult passenger situation today – passenger refusing to pay fare. Instead of escalating, I calmly explained the fare policy and offered information about our reduced-fare program. Passenger eventually complied without further issue. Staying calm and offering solutions works better than confrontation.
